Dr. Okoro M. Akinyemi is an author, academic, and advocate committed to supporting individuals and communities through justice, equality, and empowerment. He serves as Head of International Advocacy for Human Rights and Anti-Corruption, championing transparency, accountability, ethical leadership, and the protection of fundamental rights.
Professionally, he is a Vision Impairment Specialist and Lead Teacher, supporting teachers who provide specialist services to schools, ensuring children and young people with vision impairments receive the support they need to thrive. Dr. Akinyemi is passionate about fighting corruption and supporting fellow Africans in areas including education, social justice, and community development, reflecting his lifelong commitment to empowering people and building a just society.

Bruce is a committed community leader and an active member of Black Leaders UK, where he contributes to advancing equity, representation, and empowerment within diverse communities. He also serves in a teachers’ union representative capacity, advocating for the rights, welfare, and professional development of educators.
With a strong passion for social justice, Bruce is a vocal advocate for human rights, consistently championing fairness, inclusion, and equal opportunities for all. His leadership is grounded in integrity, service, and a deep commitment to driving positive change both within the education sector and the wider community.
Zainab Atoyegbe is a Financial Crime Manager at a UK-based payments company, specialising in the prevention and mitigation of financial crime and fraud. She is committed to safeguarding the integrity of the financial system by ensuring that organisations operate securely and in full compliance with regulatory requirements.

Dr Samuel Sixpence, Secretary General
Dr. Sam Sixpence is a scholar with a passion for teaching and research. His work focuses on how people, ideas and institutions come together to drive positive change, especially in marginalised communities. He is passionate about making research useful for policy and practice, and his projects often explore how skills, technology and innovation can help build more resilient businesses and communities. He is currently a lecturer in the faculty of Business and Law at a UK Higher Education institution.

Rabi Obaretin is a registered nurse, healthcare entrepreneur, and the Founder and CEO of the Black Women Boardroom, a global leader platform advancing Black women through access to, advocacy, and strategic community. I lead a diverse workforce of over 40 professionals, maintaining a strong focus on recruitment, training and service excellence in a high demand sector. Through the Black Women boardroom, I convene global networking forums, provide mentoring and
leadership development, and deliver university workshops focused on building leadership pipelines,expanding boardroom representation, and advancing economic equity.
Susan Kahoro is a Kenyan currently based in Peterborough, where she works with Riverside as a Project Assistant, supporting initiatives to house the homeless. She enjoys reading in her free time and is actively involved in community volunteering. Susan is compassionate and always willing to help where needed.
